Did you ever run away from home? Maybe you got to the end of the block before turning around and going back. It all seems silly in retrospect, but at the time you had plans. You'd show 'em what was what.
But your plans always fell apart, didn't they? You were so focused on what you were running from, not what you were running to, that you found yourself faced with the question, "Now what?" You had to raise the white flag and give up.
In this three-part series, we will walk through the story of one of the world's most famous runners—Jonah. From trying to outrun God to wrestling with grace and discipline, we'll explore the lessons we can all learn when it comes to surrendering.
Last year we were able to give out over 500 backpacks full of school supplies to students registered at Tafoya Elementary School. This year we are doing it again, and we are bringing it to Dingle Elementary as well! But, we need your help to pull it off. There are two ways to get involved:
The first is to BUY SUPPLIES!
Each child will get to go through and pick out their own school supplies to fill up their backpack. CLICK HERE for a list of supplies that are needed in order to make that happen!
*Please make sure you stay strictly to this list... if the items we get in are anything else, we will not be able to use them*
The second is to VOLUNTEER!
You're invited to help bring a smile to a child's face through volunteering your time at one of the stations during the Carnival. There will be bounce houses, face painting, a live DJ, cotton candy, popcorn, sno-cones, Woodland Fire, Woodland PD, carnival games, prizes & so much more... We will need all the help we can get to keep things running smoothly!
Click following link to get started: VOLUNTEER HERE
Please bring supplies to any weekly drop site or 10am Sunday service from now until July 30th! (720 Homestead Way, Woodland CA). We will have designated areas where you can drop them off.
If you cannot make it to a weekend service, email us at email@example.com to set up a time to drop off supplies during the week.
Thank you for your generosity!

Child dedication is a public commitment you make before God, your church, and your family. The dedication service provides you, the parent(s), an opportunity to express publicly your desire to lead and spiritually nurture your child to find and follow Jesus.
Every day, moment by moment, your choices add up to either deepen or diminish your life story. So which is it going to be? Are you consistently reaping the benefits of making the right choice, or are you stuck looking for a way around life's next obstacle? Join us for this three week series as we help you master the decisions that will make your life everything God wants it to be.
Have you ever wished you could just start over? Is there something about your past that you just can’t seem to get past? If you answered yes, then this series is for you. You're invited to join us in this series where we’ll explore the concept of grace, about how it frees us from the prison of our past, and enables us to have strength to face any challenge. Too good to be true? It’s not! It's grace.
We all want to have success when it comes to our marriage, faith, money, and friends. So why does it feel like the odds are stacked against us? Don't be a statistic. You're invited to our new series as we find out how to beat the odds.
Sunday Mornings | 10am
Tafoya Elementary School
Baptism is an act of obedience to Christ that follows an individual's acceptance of salvation by God's grace alone. Baptism isn't a prerequisite for salvation; however, if an inner commitment to trust Christ alone for salvation has been made, then the outward symbol of that commitment—Baptism—should follow, as is modeled throughout the New Testament in the lives of those choosing to follow Christ.
This year we have access to the exact Christmas wish list of the children in Yolo County Foster Care, and it is our goal to provide those gifts!
So how can you participate? It's easy.
1) Pick up a Give Love Card from a Catalyst weekend service at Tafoya Elementary (720 Homestead Way)
2) Follow the simple 3 step instructions on the card and return the presents to Catalyst by Sunday, December 4th.
If you are unable to shop and would still like to participate, you can donate online HERE (specify GiveLove) and someone on our staff would be happy to grab a card and do the shopping for you.
It's that simple to give love this Christmas! Thanks for being a part of showing some very deserving kids that their community loves them.
